The payer is saying that you indicated an accident date on the claim, however, you did not indicate that the patients condition was related to an employment accident, and auto accident, or an other accident on the claim.
How to Fix in Therabill
Click the edit icon next to the client. On the edit client form, go to the Advanced area by clicking the Advanced button at the bottom of the form. On the right of the Advanced form, you will see where you can enter the accident date. You will need to do either one of the following.
- Remove the accident date.
- Choose an option under the label Patients condition is related too.. at the bottom left.
Remember to save the client before you close the edit client form. You can then resubmit your claim.
