This is a common error when submitting to Blue Cross Blue Shield. This error occurs when you are submitting to the wrong Blue Cross Blue Shield.
As a Blue Cross Blue Shield provider, you should always submit to the Blue Cross Blue Shield state where you are a credentialed provider. That is, if you are in Illinois and you are an Illinois Blue Cross Blue Shield provider, then you will submit all Blue Cross Blue Shield claims to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.
How to fix
You need to edit the insurance card in Therabill for the patient. On the edit insurance card form, change the insurance company to your local (state) Blue Cross Blue Shield. Remember to save the client before you leave the edit client form.

Once you have edited the insurance card, you can resubmit the claim directly from the error page by clicking the Resubmit Electronically button at the top of the error page and then choosing the updated insurance card.
