The payer is saying that the date of service you submitted is more than two years old and they do not accept claims with dates of service more than 2 years old.
- Check to make sure you have entered the correct date of service. For example, you may have entered the wrong year on the session in Therabill, which is causing them to think the session/charge is older than it is.
- Check with the payer to find out if there is any protocol for filing a claim more than 2 years after the service date. Two years is a long time, one of the longer timely filing periods, therefore, you may not get far... but worth a try.
