The rejection from the payer is referencing a claim number identifier (which indicates this was either a corrected claim or a voided claim). The payer is saying that the control number that you entered is not valid.
Things to try..
- It may be that you actually do not need to send a corrected claim. It could be that you just need to resubmit the claim. If you would like to resubmit the claim, from the EDI rejection page in Therabill, click the Resubmit Electronically page in Therabill.
- If you call the payer and get the control number, you can try submitting another corrected claim from your filing cabinet using the new control number. For instructions on filing a corrected claim, please see: Corrected Claim in Therabill.
