When you communicate with WebPT Customer Support, we want to avoid sending Personal Health Information (PHI) by email. In order to maintain HIPAA compliance, the system assigns each client, session, and claim/submission a unique ID number within your account.
Client Record #
To locate the unique ID for your client:
- Navigate to Clients > Client List.
- When in Expanded View, locate the Record # field on the client's card.
When editing a session, you can find the session ID in the upper left corner of the Edit Session window.
To locate the unique ID for a claim:
- Navigate to Filing > CMS-1500.
- Find the entry for the claim and locate the Submission ID field.
Note: This is an internal Claim ID. This is not the same as the Claim IDs that are assigned by the clearinghouse and payer.
