You can make payment to Therabill using a credit or debit card or by sending payment by check through the postal service.
Payment by Credit or Debit Card
To pay by credit or debit card, log in to Therabill and click Admin in the top green navigation bar to go to your Member Info page. At the top of the Member Info page, there are a series of horizontal buttons. Two of those buttons (Recurring Payment and One Time Payment) are for making payment by credit or debit card. When paying by credit or debit card, you have the option to make a single (one time) payment or set up a recurring payment.
Recurring Credit or Debit Card Payment
Setting up a recurring credit / debit card payment is done by entering your credit card information in to the Recurring Payment area of Therabill. Click Admin in the top green navigation bar of Therabill and then at the top of the Member Info page, click the Recurring Payment button. You will now see a form to enter your credit card information. After entering the credit / debit card information, remember to click the Save Info button at the bottom of the form.
By entering your credit card information in to the recurring credit card form, you are authorizing Therabill to charge that card for the total amount due on your account on your invoice each month.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you ever decide to cancel your Therabill subscription, you MUST remove your recurring credit card information from this area. Therabill representatives cannot view or edit your credit card information.
Entering your credit card information into the recurring payment area does not result in Therabill charging your credit card at the time you enter your credit card information. Your card will not be charged until the due date (not the invoice date) on your monthly Therabill invoice.
I entered my recurring credit card information after the due date. Do I need to make an one time single payment?
If you enter a recurring credit card, Therabill will attempt to process the card on the due date of your invoice. However, if you enter a recurring credit card after the due date, Therabill may attempt to run the transaction up to 5 days after your due date. Here are things to consider.
- If your account is inactive due to your invoice being due, then you may want to make a single payment to gain access to your account.
- You may want to make a single payment to make sure your bill for the month gets paid, especially if you entered your recurring credit card information after the due date of your invoice. Before you make a single payment, you may want to check your current running balance. You can check your current running balance by clicking the My Invoices button at the top of your Member Info page and then viewing your running balance and verifying the date of the last payment that was received. For more information, please see: Where can I see my payments made to Therabill.
Single Payment by Credit or Debit Card
If you would rather not set up a recurring credit card payment but would still like to pay your Therabill subscription by credit or debit card, you can make a one time payment using the One Time Payment area. Click Admin in the top green navigation bar of Therabill and then at the top of the Member Info page, click the One Time Payment button. You will now see a form to enter your credit card information. After entering your credit card information, click the Make Payment button at the bottom of the form. Therabill will process the card at this time.
NOTE: At the bottom of the single payment entry form, there is a checkbox labeled "automatically charge this credit card on future due dates". If you check that checkbox, you will be creating a recurring payment (Please see above section labeled Recurring Credit or Debit Card Payment).
Payment by Check
If you would rather not pay by credit card, you can send payment by check through the postal service.
Please mail payment to:
P.O. Box 758
Grayslake, IL 60030
When mailing payment by check, it is a good idea to mail the payment 6 days prior to the due date on the invoice. Your monthly invoice is e-mailed to you 14 days prior to the due date of the invoice.
If payment is not received on the due date of the invoice, you may lose access to your Therabill account until payment has been made.
If payment is not received payment after 5 days from the due date, a late payment penalty of $10.00 will be charged to your Therabill account.
If payment is not received for 2 months, your Therabill account will be considered abandoned and will be set for deletion. Restoration of your account after this will result in a $30.00 account restoration fee. To restore your account, you will need to pay the full balance due on your account plus the $30.00 account restoration fee.
After 3 months, your account and all protected health information within it will be permanently erased from our servers. At this point, your account cannot be restored and if you would like to continue using Therabill, you would need to create another Therabill account. If you were previously grandfathered in to a pricing model, you will have lost that grandfathered status and your new account will be held to current pricing models.
