Your dashboard contains a Things To Do section. Many of the alerts that appear here can be turned on/off by going to Admin > Defaults/Settings > Alerts.
Payment Updates in WebPT Detected
This alert states that WebPT payment information has been updated and needs to be reviewed. For more information, please see: Payment Updates in WebPT Detected.
HL7 Transmission Errors
Your account has received HL7 (Client or Financial) transmissions from WebPT that the system was not able to process. HL7 is a file format for sending/receiving electronic health information. For more information on processing these errors, please see: HL7 Transmission Errors.
When turned on, this alert will generate if you have sessions that need to be billed out to insurance. Clicking on the view icon will take you to Billing > Bill Insurance.
Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA)
When turned on, this alert will generate whenever you have an ERA marked as New in your account. Clicking on on the view icon will take you to Filing > EOBS/ERA. For more information, please see: ERA Overview.
This alert states that an addendum was finalized and rebilled on a WebPT Daily Note. For more information, please see: Addendum Added Alert
Unacknowledged Electronic Claims
When turned on, this alert will generate if you have electronic claims that you submitted more than 5 days ago that are still unacknowledged by the insurance company or clearinghouse.

When turned on, this alert will generate when you have insurance authorizations that are nearing their expiration date or are almost out of visits. When you click on the view icon, you will be presented with a list of corresponding authorizations. This list will show the client name, payer name, authorization number, the remaining number of sessions, and the expiration date. There will also be a blue pencil icon that you can click to be taken to the client chart where you can update the authorization information. When turned on, this alert will inform you that you have sessions that need to be confirmed or cancelled. Click the view icon to the right to go to your confirm schedule page. Clicking on the view icon will take you to Billing > Confirm Schedule.
Public Client Intakes to Review (Standalone)
This item is letting you know that you have client intake forms that have been submitted to your account. When you email a client intake request and the client clicks on the link in their email and then fills out and submits the intake, you will get this message on your dashboard. If you click on the view icon you will be presented with the client intake portal where you can create new clients from the intake information you have received.

Unfinalized Sessions (Standalone)
You have service dates that are between 1 to 60 days old that are not finalized. This item is letting you know that you have session documentation that has not yet been finalized. When you click on the view icon you will be presented with the Session Documentation Status List where you can set a date range and other filters to view a list of sessions that have not had documentation started, sessions that have not been finalized, or sessions that have not had assistant notes cosigned by their supervisor. If you do not wish to see this message on your dashboard, you can click on Admin > Defaults/Settings > Alerts and uncheck the Unfinalized Sessions option. You can also change the values that are used to evaluate the number of days range, that will cause the alert to be shown.
