I submitted a claim as print and mail when I wanted to submit electronically. How do I go back and correct?
If you accidentally submit a claim by Print & Mail, you can easily change it to an electronic submission through the filing cabinet.
- Click Filing in the top navigation bar.
- In your CMS-1500 filing cabinet, find the claim and then click the "grey tools" icon associated with the claim.
- A little menu will appear, in that menu, choose "Submit Electronically".
Your claim will now be submitted electronically.
