If you are using authorization watch, then Therabill is automatically assigning your sessions to an authorization whenever you create an insurance claim to the insurance company that the authorization is associated with. You can view a list of sessions that were applied to an authorization (as well as remove sessions from an authorization) from the insurance list.
Viewing a list of sessions applied to an authorization
- Put your mouse over Billing in the top green navigation bar.
- In the drop down menu, choose Insurance List
- You will now see a list of insurance companies that you have included on insurance cards in Therabill. Find the insurance company of the authorization that the session is assigned to and click the Info & Settings link associated with it.
- The manage insurance company form will now open. At the top right, click the Authorizations tab.
You will now be on a page where you can find any authorization from this insurance company (see image to the right, top). Use the filters across the top to help you find the authorization that the session is assigned to. If the authorization is currently expired or has no expiration date assigned, then make sure you click the View Expired option at the top right. Once you have located the session, click the view icon (the magnifying glass) to see all of the sessions currently associated with that authorization (see image to the right, bottom).
