The feature described below is for those Therabill members who have integrated one of our partnered merchant account provider gateways into their Therabill account. For information about credit card processing in Therabill, please see: Therabill Credit Card Processing.
If you would like to create a credit card transaction receipt after you process a credit card in Therabill, you can do so after the transaction has been processed directly from the credit card gateway in Therabill.
On the right hand side of the credit card gateway in Therabill, you will see the Recent History. If the transaction is in that list, you will see a little PDF icon next to it. Click the PDF icon to create the receipt. Once the receipt is created, the receipt will automatically be downloaded (and may automatically open up, depending on the browser you are using). You will also see a dialog window as shown in the image to the right. If you would like to e-mail the receipt to someone, simply enter their name and e-mail address. You can optionally enter any comments to be displayed in the body of the e-mail that is sent to them.
The recipient of the e-mail
Therabill does not send out attachments in e-mails. Instead, the recipient of the e-mail will get a message letting them know that you sent them a file. Within the e-mail, there will be a link for them to click that will bring them to a secure page in Therabill where they can download the file that you sent them.
The recipient said they never received the e-mail
Therabill is not an e-mail client. Therabill cannot return any mail failure notices to you if the e-mail was incorrectly entered and/or is an invalid e-mail address. In addition, if the recipient indicates that they did not receive the e-mail, the first thing you should ask them to do is, check their spam folder.
